“It’s honestly up to you. I’m up for anything and I want you to feel comfortable.” He smiled and looked at Charlie. “I’ll let you decide while I use the toilet.” Patrick got up and walked towards the bathroom that was at the back of his dorm room.
Charlie thought for a moment about what he wanted to do, but he really didn’t know. He didn’t want to give Patrick the impression that he was lame and incapable of doing things that his other friends could do, but he also really wasn’t into sports. So finally, he settled with food.
Patrick could tell that Charlie was a bit nervous or timid about being here. It was kind of cute if Patrick had to admit. “Well I usually watch sports or play video games with my mates. Sometimes we go grab a bit to eat or go catch a movie.” He shrugged and finished off his beer. He threw the can across the room and made it into the bin. It was a bit of a show off move but he didn’t care.
“Oh, well, we can watch sports if you want to… video games are fine too, I don’t know. I haven’t played many.” he chuckled. “Eating or a movie, that’s also fine.” he smiled. “I’m up for anything really.” he said, looking around the dorm room and ducking a bit when Patrick threw the can.
Patrick shrugged and gave him an ‘if you say so look’ before moving over to give Charlie room to sit. “It’s football, but it’s over.” He clicked off the television and turned a big to face the boy next to him. “Do you have anything specific that you wanna do?”
“Um, no, not really.” he said. He was new to hanging out with “friends,” and that was starting to show a bit. “I’m kind of new to this whole thing… Is there something that boys normally do when they hang out?” Back in high school, he wasn’t popular what so ever, and the only friends he had were a few kids that he ate lunch with, but other than that, he never hung out with them outside of school.
“Aw come on. What kind of call was that? Bloody hell.” Patrick yelled as the last call of the game turned out to be the call he didn’t want. He turned to notice Charlie sitting next to him. “Hey mate.” He smiled and took a swig of beer. “Want something to drink? Water? A soda?”
“Oh, um, thanks.” he said. “But I’m not thirsty.” he smiled, taking a seat on the couch and looking at the television. He never really understood any type of sports, he was more of a book knowledge type of guy. “So, um, what are you watching?”
Patrick had gotten up and rigged the door like he said he would. He stopped by his mini fridge and grabbed a beer before going back to his spot on the sofa. As he waited for Charlie to show up, Patrick got really into the game and was yelling at all the bad calls that happened.
Charlie noticed that the door was cracked and he also heard the shouts coming from Patrick so he nervously opened the door and stepped inside. Looking around, he cautiously looked around, continuing his walk throughout the dorm. He got to the couch and smiled. “Uh, hey.”
Charlie pulled on a pair of skinny jeans, matching it with a white tank top. He slipped on a pair of Toms and headed out the door, looking around the hallway before heading to Patrick’s room. He got there without a problem and knocked on the door.
And I’m just chilling on the sofa watching a bit of sports.
I think I might come over then?
You can do that too. You’re always welcome to hang out with me.
Well, um, I’ve finished all of my homework..
Well if you need help with it, you have my number and know where my room is. Feel free to text or stop by if you do.
What if I just wanted to stop by? Like… if I didn’t need help.

Well I normally wear a t shirt and jeans with a hat. It’s a pretty casual thing at these parties, well for guys at least. Girls are usually really dressed up and look sexy.
Alright, I’m sure I can find something in my closet. Hopefully.
